Ready to be the architect of chaos-to-order transformation? We're seeking a masterful DevOps Engineer who sees complex infrastructure challenges as opportunities to shine. Picture yourself as the conductor of a technical symphony, orchestrating multiple acquired products into a harmonious AWS ecosystem where 99.9% uptime isn't just a goal—it's the standard.
Unlike traditional roles where you'd maintain a single system, here you'll be the strategic mind behind consolidating diverse tech stacks into a streamlined powerhouse. We're flipping the script on conventional wisdom—while others build walls between databases, we're building bridges, optimizing costs, and maximizing efficiency across our entire portfolio.
This isn't your average infrastructure role. You'll wield real decision-making power, leveraging AI-driven automation to transform tangled legacy systems into elegant, efficient solutions. From zero-downtime migrations to performance tuning, you'll be the driving force behind our infrastructure evolution.
If you're energized by complex puzzles and thrive on creating order from chaos, you'll find your perfect match here. But fair warning: if you prefer following playbooks over writing them, or if juggling multiple tech stacks makes you nervous, this isn't your arena. Ready to revolutionize our infrastructure landscape? Let's talk.
What You Will Be Doing
- Orchestrate sophisticated infrastructure transformations, seamlessly transitioning legacy systems into modern AWS architecture
- Craft intelligent monitoring solutions and develop cutting-edge automations that elevate our operational efficiency
- Lead critical operations including system surveillance, backup management, incident resolution, database transformations, and strategic cost optimization
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Drowning in endless status updates and Jira tickets - we empower action-takers, not task-trackers
- Babysitting legacy systems - you'll be the catalyst for progressive transformation
- Navigating red tape for urgent fixes - you'll have the autonomy to make critical decisions
- Operating in isolation - this role demands a holistic technical perspective
- Battling for infrastructure investment - we're committed to providing the resources you need
DevOps Engineer Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the evolution of our cloud infrastructure ecosystem by implementing state-of-the-art monitoring systems, intelligent automation solutions, and AWS best practices across our diverse product portfolio.
Basic Requirements
- Proven mastery of AWS infrastructure (essential - this is our core platform)
- Advanced programming capabilities in Python or JavaScript for developing sophisticated automation solutions
- Demonstrated expertise in managing and migrating diverse database environments (MySql, Postgres, Oracle, MS-SQL)
- Professional-level Docker/Kubernetes proficiency
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation)
- Expert-level Linux systems administration capabilities
