Job summary
CIBC is seeking a Sr. Manager of Development in Toronto to lead multiple development teams, shaping scalable server-side systems, APIs and data platforms. Hybrid work model with on-site days and remote work is offered.
You will mentor teams, drive Agile/CI–CD/DevOps practices, and partner with clients to define technical requirements and deliver innovative solutions. A strong background in big data and Azure is preferred.
Qualifications
- Leadership experience with multiple development teams.
- Experience with Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark and Databricks.
- Cloud experience with Azure and related tools.
- Knowledge of OLAP/Oracle Exadata, Cognos, and Informatica.
- Architecturally aware with streaming concepts and real-time systems.
