DEPT is a Growth Invention company helping brands grow faster. The Senior Designer will work across large, well-known brands on hyper-personalised digital communications and email experiences.

You’ll mentor designers, shape end-to-end journeys, and ensure brand integrity while delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines. The role is based in Toronto with hybrid working arrangements, offering a competitive salary and a suite of employee benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of digital design experience.
• Agency experience across brand, direct, and above-the-line work.
• Strong client relationships and pitch skills.
• Excellent layout, typography, and retouching.
• Proficient in Figma and Adobe CS; basic motion design.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the work of and mentoring other designers.
• Delivering constructive feedback.
• Coach your team members and help them realise areas of development.
• Working on a brief from start to finish.
• Image sourcing and artworking.
• Designing responsive customer-centric emails and landing pages.
• Maintaining and optimising our existing global email design system.
• Applying creativity to adhoc projects.
• Striving to create work that contributes to the client’s business goals.
• Researching competitors and staying current with design trends.
• Taking accountability for flawless design output.
• Contributing innovative ideas at creative review meetings.
• Protecting brand integrity and guardianship.
• Drive the delivery of work on time and to the highest standard.
