Cossette seeks an experienced Senior Designer to act as a creative leader and brand steward, translating vision into integrated concepts across digital, print, and campaigns. You’ll mentor junior talent and collaborate with production teams to ensure top‑tier craft and brand integrity.

You’ll work in a hybrid environment in Toronto, applying strategic thinking, strong design systems, and proficient use of AI tools like Google Gemini and Adobe Firefly to drive big ideas across channels.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Designer in the design industry (agency, design studio or in‑house).
• Inspiring portfolio showing conceptual strength and execution across channels.
• Proven ability to work well in a team and lead small creative groups.
• Keen eye for detail and ability to deliver top‑tier work under pressure.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with ability to articulate rationale.
• High proficiency in relevant design software.
• Proficiency with generative AI tools (e.g., Google Gemini) for concept development.

Responsibilities

• Dive into briefs to develop strategic design insights and impactful concepts.
• Mentor junior designers and lead cross‑channel campaign development.
• Provide design direction to Art Directors, Designers, and Account teams.
• Oversee craft and brand alignment across campaigns across channels.
• Guide teams on ethical use of AI tools and maintain human oversight.
