Job Description

The candidate will collaborate on the realization of industrial and mining engineering infrastructure plans (earthworks, roads, underground services, basins, etc.), working closely with project managers. Motivated candidates may also take on team management and project management responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Design and produce a wide range of infrastructure drawings, such as water, sewer networks, roadways, site development, and parking lots, in multidisciplinary projects.
2. Coordinate and supervise less-experienced technicians.
3. Collaborate with engineers and seasoned technicians for technical designs and complex drawings.
4. Support CAD development team in upgrading CAD software and related tools.

Qualifications

1. Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
2. 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in industrial infrastructure drawing and scaling.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
4. Fluent in French (oral and written).
5. Team leadership experience (asset).
6. Project management experience (asset).
7. Skills in GlobalMapper, Recap, and Navisworks (asset).
