Maple Leaf Foods is seeking a Sr. Demand Planner to develop and maintain the finished goods sales forecast used by operations and commercial teams.

You will build relationships with Sales, Marketing, and supply chain to ensure accurate demand signals and drive production planning across Canadian facilities. The role requires 2+ years in demand planning, strong Excel and Power BI skills, and the ability to translate data into clear actions for senior leaders.

Qualifications

• University degree or professional designation in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain planning.
• Strong Excel and Power BI skills with data analysis ability.

Responsabilités

• Create and maintain the 18-month rolling demand forecast in SAP IBP and provide insights to production planning.
• Maintain baseline forecast and governance in SAP IBP; use Power BI to identify trends.
• Lead forecast alignment meetings with Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional partners.
• Be the single point of contact for forecast assumptions, risks, and actions.
• Understand product lifecycle to influence production and inventory planning.
• Translate forecasts into actionable insights for leadership and customers.
