Job summary

A local municipality in Port Hope is seeking a Day Camp Senior Team Leader to supervise staff and ensure high-quality programs for children. The ideal candidate will have experience with children, relevant education in recreation, and first aid certification. Qualifications

• Experience with camp programs is preferred.
• Willingness to obtain required first aid certifications.
• Commitment to work Monday to Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lesson plans for all camps and organize activities.
• Lead the Summer Day Camp Staff in a professional manner.
• Ensure safety and provide supervision to participants.
• Act as a liaison between parents and staff regarding participants.
• Monitor off-site activities ensuring safety and compliance.

Skills

Experience working with children and youth

Standard First Aid, CPR

Valid and satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check

Ability to swim
