Job summary

Northbeam LLC is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to help build and scale our measurement products, including MMM, Incrementality, Insights, and Recommendations. The role emphasizes production deployment and ownership, translating statistical methods into reliable, customer-facing capabilities while collaborating with Data Science, Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (MS or PhD preferred) in a highly quantitative field.
• 5+ years building and deploying data science, ML, or AI systems in production environments.
• Strong foundations in statistics, ML, experimentation, and causal inference.
• Ability to write production-quality, maintainable, testable code.
• Experience deploying and supporting production ML systems.
• Ability to debug across the full stack and own projects end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and maintain production systems powering measurement products.
• Translate statistical and causal inference methodologies into scalable, reliable customer-facing capabilities.
• Improve the accuracy, coverage, reliability, and robustness of measurement systems.
• Debug data, modeling, and production issues across the full stack from source data to outputs.
• Evaluate methodological improvements pragmatically considering trade-offs and business value.
• Partner with Data Science, Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to improve measurement quality.
• Explain statistical concepts to customers and gather feedback to improve products.
