Working within the Wealth Management Data and AI team, you will assist the lead data scientists in developing analytical models and data driven solutions. Responsibilities will include data cleaning, exploratory analysis, feature engineering, model evaluation, and model deployment.

Job Description

What will you do?

  • Assist lead data scientists in building, testing, and deploying predictive models and analytical tools
  • Prepare, clean, organize large data sets.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis and explain findings.
  • Generate reports and visualisations.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Be a jack of all trades, with experience in data science and data engineering
  • Be able to familiarize oneself with new data sets quickly
  • Able to communicate effectively to the team
  • Be curious about state-of-the-art technology and AI algorithms.

Must-have

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Statistics, or other STEM majors. Masters/PhD considered an asset.
  • 4+ years of work experience within the data science domain.
  • Strong proficiency in Python
  • Strong proficiency in SQL
  • Ability to pick up new tools and frameworks quickly, including learning other programming languages as needed

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with Agile software development and DevOps pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub actions
  • Experience in building applications with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLM), and agentic systems.
  • Experience in productionizing and deploying ML-based applications/solutions in hybrid environments on-prem and major cloud environments, such as AWS and Azure.
