Your team and role

Working on the Data Science Functional Team, you'll build machine learning models, conduct statistical analyses, and improve our data processes using tools like Python, Jupyter, and SQL. Recent projects include:

• Deploying fast categorization models for search queries
• Grading the relevancy of advertisements at scale
• Expanding our fraud-detection models

As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll work directly with product and business objectives, including our search engine, instant answers, and revenue optimization. You'll collaborate across teams and drive impact through experiments, validating directions, and building trust through data, focusing on key metrics like searches, installs, and revenue.

About You

• 7+ years of experience in Data Science
• Ability to lead and collaborate on high-impact projects from proposal to post-mortem
• Skills to wrangle vague problems, propose innovative solutions, and execute with a strong focus on metrics
• Advanced programming experience, preferably in Python
• Expertise in SQL, query optimization, and familiarity with columnar databases (e.g., Redshift, Clickhouse, BigQuery, Druid)
• Experience building data visualizations and dashboards

Compensation

$178,500 USD annually plus stock options. Compensation is consistent across locations and teams, with transparency across the organization.
