Insight Global is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join a top bank in downtown Toronto for a 6-month contract to support financial operations. The consultant will be essential in supporting a general ledger project focused on migrating from two databases to S/4HANA. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for mapping and analyzing hierarchies between S/4HANA and downstream systems to ensure correct mapping for IFRS and US GAAP standards. Experience within large financial institutions working with large datasets is critical. The successful candidate will have experience in hierarchy mapping and familiarity with S/4HANA. This role requires a self-starter, organized individual with excellent cross-collaboration skills.

Must-haves:

• 5-7 years of experience working with large datasets, including hierarchy mapping.
• Experience within large financial institutions.
• Confidence in working with large datasets, including running queries.
• Familiarity with S/4HANA (previous experience preferred).
• Financial product knowledge, such as types of loans and deposits.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
