Job summary

Dialogue, the leading virtual care provider in Canada, seeks a Senior Data Platform Developer to design, build, and maintain a modern data platform across ingestion, transformation, and consumption layers. You will collaborate with product, sales, and analytics teams to onboard power users to a self-serve model, implement IaC with Terraform, CI/CD with CircleCI, and optimize Snowflake and dbt pipelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in building production data systems.
• Strong experience with data warehouse modelling, performance optimization and semantic layer development.
• Proficiency with Apache Airflow for workflow management and building resilient pipelines.
• Advanced SQL skills and strong software engineering skills in Python.

Responsibilities

• Data Ingestion & Orchestration: Design scalable ingestion frameworks for batch and streaming data.
• Data Modelling & Semantic Layer Development: Define and enforce data modelling standards and semantic layers.
• Data Quality & Observability: Embed data validation, testing, and observability into pipelines.
