Job summary

Dialogue, a leading Canadian virtual care provider, seeks a Senior Data Developer to advance a growing data product catalogue and structured data mart modelling in a cloud-based warehouse.

You will collaborate with data analysts, full stack developers, and product managers within an agile framework, translating business needs into scalable data features while upholding code quality and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Develop and maintain data warehouse modelling across staging, intermediate, and mart layers.
• Implement observability: logging, data quality checks, freshness monitoring, and alerts.
• Build batch and event-driven data pipelines (Snowpipe, EventBridge) powering eligibility and reporting.
• Participate in code reviews and design discussions to ensure high-quality data products.
• Champion data governance and privacy practices, including anonymization and access controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data warehouse modelling across staging, intermediate, and mart layers.
• Optimize data models for utility and performance.
• Transform raw data into curated datasets for reporting and client deliverables using dbt and Snowflake.
• Collaborate in code reviews and design discussions to ensure maintainable data products.
• Champion data governance and privacy practices, including anonymization and access controls.
