Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of healthcare experience, preferably in a hospital.
  • Knowledge of health information systems and privacy laws in Ontario.

Role Overview:

The Senior Data Integrity Analyst plays a key role in supporting data integrity for identity management services in the healthcare sector, focusing on data quality and integrity of data contributed to provincial EHR data assets. This includes conducting data integrity reviews of ADT data for the Provincial Client Registry (PCR/EMPI) and provider data for the Provincial Provider Registry (PPR).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for data sources contributing to the PCR and PPR, supporting error remediation related to PHI records.
  • Analyze inbound records, perform record linking, unlinking, and merging functions.
  • Manage relationships with data source contacts and support their staff in resolving data issues.
  • Provide training on data integrity tools and processes.
  • Investigate and resolve complex data issues, ensuring corrections are applied properly.
  • Support onboarding of new data sources and build ongoing relationships.
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks, tickets, and reports.
  • Mentor and support team members and new hires.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data security to prevent privacy breaches.

Qualifications:

  • College diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management.
  • CHIMA designation is an asset.
  • 3-5 years of healthcare experience, preferably in a hospital or similar organization.
  • Experience with PHI and understanding of privacy regulations.
  • Knowledge of health information systems and privacy laws in Ontario and Canada.
