Cineplex in Toronto is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design and deliver data products powering analytics, segmentation, personalization, and AI-driven insights.

You will own Customer360 and related platforms, building scalable data pipelines and governance practices while collaborating with Analytics, Marketing, Privacy, and Legal teams. This role blends hands-on engineering with technical leadership in a hybrid office setting.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of data engineering or data architecture experience.
• Experience delivering on Azure Databricks or similar Spark lakehouse.
• Strong SQL, Python, PySpark skills and data modeling.
• Experience with data governance, security, and compliance.
• Databricks or Azure Data Engineer certification asset.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Customer360 and related data products.
• Design scalable batch and near real-time pipelines.
• Collaborate with analytics, marketing, and product teams.
• Lead architecture reviews and mentor engineers.
