Job summary

FCC is seeking a Senior Technical Analyst, Data to strengthen our data engineering capability by supporting systems, pipelines and integrations that move trusted information across the organization.

Working with data engineers, data architects and product teams, you’ll analyze requirements, translate them into technical specifications and contribute to solutions involving SQL, ETL/ELT, data warehousing and cloud-based data services.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or business.
• Minimum six years of technology enablement experience.
• Expertise in data engineering, warehousing and ETL/ELT.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data services (Glue, Redshift, Lambda, S3, Step Functions, QuickSight).
• Experience maintaining production data pipelines and cloud-based solutions.
• Strong communication skills for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements and translate into technical specs.
• Design, build, monitor and support data pipelines and batch processing.
• Troubleshoot data issues and identify root causes.
• Support data engineers and architects with technical analysis.
• Collaborate with product teams and vendors on data solutions.
• Provide informal technical leadership and promote best practices.
