Job summary

Farm Credit Canada is seeking a Senior Developer (Data Engineering) to lead the design, development and delivery of complex data solutions. You will bridge development and architecture and mentor teams across data communities to advance FCC's modern data platform.

Qualifications

• Eight to 10 years of related experience in software development, data engineering, solution design or technical leadership (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Experience designing and implementing complex enterprise-scale technology solutions.
• Experience contributing to solution architecture and technical design decisions.
• Experience with data engineering tools, platforms and approaches.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver learning modules to enable adoption of new data technology and platform.
• Lead and deliver learning sessions to the data community with new skills, tools, technologies and frameworks.
• Collaborate with architects and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Mentor developers and data practitioners on data engineering, solution design and cloud technologies.
