Job summary

Accenture Construct is seeking a Data Center Senior Scheduler (Scheduling IV) in Toronto. You will create and manage schedules across all construction phases for data centers, coordinating with engineers, contractors and vendors to ensure on-time delivery.

Role requires 10+ years in project scheduling, proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project, and a Bachelor's in Construction Management or related field. Hybrid work options with strong program controls support are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in project scheduling, preferably within data center or mission-critical construction projects.
• Proficiency with scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Create and manage detailed project schedules covering all phases of data center construction, from design through closeout.
• Define activities, sequence workflows, estimate durations, and allocate resources to build accurate project timelines.
• Identify critical paths, milestones, and dependencies to ensure schedules align with owner objectives.
• Track progress against the baseline schedule, preparing reports with earned value, milestone, and variance analyses.
• Identify schedule risks early and develop mitigation strategies; perform 'what-if' analyses and recovery schedules.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and vendors to align and communicate schedule updates.
• Coordinate subcontractor and supplier schedules into a cohesive master schedule using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Document actual vs planned timelines and capture lessons learned for future improvements.
