Job summary

TVO Ontario Educational Communications Authority is seeking a Senior Analyst, Data Analytics to drive data-driven decision making. You will gather, analyze, and interpret complex datasets from multiple sources and produce actionable insights for strategic priorities.

You will develop dashboards and visualizations using Looker Studio, Power BI, and Tableau while collaborating with multiple teams to define data requirements and support ad hoc projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, market research, communications, mathematics, statistics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis with qualitative and quantitative findings.
• Experience in the media or ed-tech industry is a plus.
• Advanced SQL and knowledge of relational databases.
• Strong knowledge of Google Analytics 4 with custom views.
• Proficient in Google Tag Manager and advanced tracking implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead data tracking plans and define metrics to support stakeholders.
• Mine data from the data warehouse to extract viewer/user and product insights.
• Design analytics proposals, sampling, and data instruments.
• Create weekly and monthly dashboards and visualizations.
• Oversee analytics tools including Google Analytics and social platforms.
• Build user segments via CDP integrations with developers.
• Collaborate with departments to present research findings.
• Support data roadmap and ad hoc requests.
