Job summary

Intact Financial Corporation seeks a Senior Data Analyst - Operational Performance Analytics to join our Montreal Underwriting Operations analytics team. You will design Power BI solutions and lead the SAS-to-Databricks migration, shaping our analytics platform.

You will build scalable data models, optimize Power BI reports, and set technical standards. Requires 7–10 years in Power BI/BI, strong SQL and PySpark, Databricks knowledge, and bilingual French/English communication.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in Power BI/BI and data development.
• Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, SQL, and PySpark.
• Databricks Workflows, Unity Catalog, knowledge of SAS, Git, AWS (asset).
• Bilingual French/English communication – interaction across the country.

Responsibilities

• Design Power BI solution architecture (models, governance, security, performance).
• Lead major components of the SAS-to-Databricks migration (PySpark/SQL).
• Resolve complex incidents (L2/L3) affecting reports and underlying data.
• Review work from junior/intermediate developers and establish technical standards.
• Optimize performance of Power BI reports and Databricks processes.
