Job summary

Canada Life is seeking an Intermediate Data Analyst to transform data into actionable insights that support business decisions. You will leverage analytics, reporting and visualization to help stakeholders understand performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

You will partner with business and technical teams, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, design data models, and ensure data accuracy and reliability across reports.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in business intelligence and data visualization.
• Strong Power BI proficiency, including DAX and Power Query.
• Experience building dashboards and reports for business audiences.
• Experience with SQL querying and data analysis.
• Familiarity with Python or R is a plus.
• You can communicate complex data insights to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into analytics, dashboards, and reports.
• Partner with technical teams to design data models supporting reporting needs.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Analyze data to identify trends and support data-driven decisions.
• Train users and promote adoption of reporting and visualization tools.
• Ensure data accuracy and reliability across reports.
• Participate in the full reporting lifecycle from development to deployment.
