Manuvie in Toronto, Ontario is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the GWAM Data Engineering team. You will translate complex business requirements into data models, develop scalable data structures, and establish data lineage and governance standards.

You will work closely with Data Management, Data Delivery, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data products across investment and wealth management.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years related experience in Investment data and Data Management solutions.
• Experience with data-centric projects: MDM, data integration, data warehousing and analytics.
• Significant experience with major trading platforms and data systems.
• Experience delivering data documentation artifacts in large organizations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver flexible, reusable and well-maintained core data repositories.
• Use accelerated delivery methodologies to provide timely business value.
• Develop and maintain Investment domain expertise and data content quality.
• Partner with Data Governance to implement standards and templates.
• Create data templates and communicate requirements to stakeholders.
• Ensure proposed solutions meet business needs and validate data quality.
• Conduct data profiling and advise on cleansing rules.
• Assist in creating business glossaries and data dictionaries.
• Collaborate with QA to test data components.
• Evaluate data models and interfaces; document data flow and mappings.
