Job description

Join to apply for the Senior Data Analyst role at Autodesk

Position Overview

Data is central to measuring all aspects of our business and critical to our growth. We’re looking for someone to join Autodesk’s Product Development & Manufacturing Services organization as a Senior Data Analyst. Collaborate with business partners across Product, Finance, Sales, and Marketing as a key member of our analytics team, supporting Product Led Growth.

As a motivated self-starter, you will work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Proven attention to detail and an extensive eye for business will enable you to work efficiently with stakeholders across Product, Finance, Sales, and Marketing to build business narratives and metrics for success. You will define and test hypotheses, and deliver practical insights through data visualizations. Success involves having a big-picture view and challenging the status quo, asking hard questions to ensure resource investment is justified.

At Autodesk, we value a hybrid work culture. Remote work is supported in Toronto, Canada. If you live near an office, you can work full or part-time there based on your preference.

Responsibilities

  1. Design and instrument key performance metrics with the business growth and strategy teams. Deliver weekly and quarterly analysis of leading indicators and results.
  2. Define scalable data model requirements focused on immediate business outcomes.
  3. Build self-serve tools and advanced visualizations to democratize data insights.
  4. Conduct ecosystem analyses to interpret what happened and how to improve.
  5. Improve internal processes and stakeholder documentation guides.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. 5+ years in data analytics or data visualization, including 3+ years communicating findings to executives. Experience with dashboards, storytelling, and making data-driven recommendations.
  2. Mastery of SQL in a cloud data warehouse environment.
  3. Proficiency with data visualization software (PowerBI required; Looker or Tableau a bonus).
  4. Familiarity with product analytics, clickstream datasets, or UX frameworks and tools.
  5. Experience with data pipelines, ETL, and understanding database design principles (e.g., GitHub, DBT, Airflow).
  6. Degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
  7. Experience with reporting tools for Sales and Marketing (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo).
