Senior Data Governance Analyst required to support BI Enablement project (2025-023)

Our GTA based, Municipal Government client requires the services of a Senior Data Governance Analyst to support their BI Enablement project.

ROLE:

Working under the supervision of the Manager – Business Intelligence and Analytics, and in partnership with the Data Governance Lead, the Data Governance Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing Data Governance and related, artifacts, processes and solutions, as well as enhancing and supporting existing Data Governance and related, artifacts, processes and solutions.

MUST HAVE:

University degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent

5+ years of experience working as a Data Governance analyst

Experience working as a business analyst

Experience evaluating and implementing Data Governance tools

2+ years’ hands-on experience, configuring and working with an Enterprise Data Catalogue tool, such as Collibra, Informatica, Microsoft Purview or similar.

Experience delivering business data classification, business glossaries and collating data definitions in an enterprise data catalogue

Experience creating and maintaining Data Governance frameworks; as well as defining Data Governance roles and responsibilities needed to sustain Data

Experience working with data in a Microsoft Azure environment.
