Job summary

PwC Canada is seeking a Cybersecurity Generalist Senior Associate to deliver security programs for clients across domains, helping protect systems and data with practical recommendations and high-quality deliverables.

You will work with PwC teams and clients to assess risks, develop security strategies, and communicate progress while maintaining strong client relationships in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong client service, teamwork and stakeholder-management skills.
• A broad understanding of cybersecurity strategy and risk.
• Knowledge of Microsoft stack: M365, Azure, Entra ID, Defender, Sentinel, Purview.
• Experience in governance, risk and compliance (GRC).
• Familiarity with ISTG 33, NIST CSF and OSFI B-13.

Responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity engagements with client teams to meet scope, timelines and outcomes.
• Contribute to security assessments, control testing and risk analysis, turning findings into recommendations.
• Collaborate with data protection, IAM, cloud and network security specialists.
• Build trusted client relationships and flag risks or scope changes early.
• Help track hours, costs and milestones and share lessons learned.
