Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant to support delivery of enterprise cybersecurity assessments for large, complex organizations. The role combines advisory work, structured assessment, stakeholder engagement, and executive reporting with independent ownership of assigned domains.

The successful candidate will translate complex technical findings into practical improvement recommendations and prepare executive-ready materials for client leadership in a Toronto-based engagement.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience delivering cybersecurity maturity, capability, risk, controls, assurance, or transformation assessments.
• Ability to independently lead a workstream or assessment domain from information gathering through final reporting.
• Working knowledge of common cyber and IT frameworks and how outcomes apply to real environments.
• Broad understanding across multiple cybersecurity domains with depth in 2–3 areas.
• Experience facilitating stakeholder interviews or workshops and communicating with technical and executive audiences.
• Strong analytical judgment and the ability to draw supportable conclusions from varied information.
• Excellent written communication, findings, presentations and executive summaries.
• Ability to manage multiple domains, stakeholders and deliverables while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned cybersecurity domains through assessment planning and reporting.
• Translate framework outcomes into practical assessment criteria for clients.
• Review policies, standards, procedures, architectures, metrics, and technical documents.
• Plan and facilitate interviews and workshops with cybersecurity leaders and risk teams.
• Draft observations, maturity rationales, and actionable recommendations.
• Prepare executive-ready materials and client presentations.
• Guide Juniors, ensure consistency across domains, and refine assessment methodologies.
