Signet Jewelers Limited in Markham, ON is seeking an experienced Senior Analyst, Customs Compliance to lead Canada customs operations and align with global trade programs. This role focuses on accurate landed-cost data, broker coordination, and regulatory compliance across multiple markets.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in customs/trade compliance, strong Excel and ERP skills, and experience with CBSA/CARM processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in customs/trade logistics.
• Hands-on import/export operations experience.
• Strong Excel, data analysis and reconciliation skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to document defensible customs decisions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary operational contact for Canada customs matters.
• Manage vendor onboarding, shipment documentation, clearance exceptions, holds and issue resolution across direct import, vendor import, drop ship and cross-border movements.
• Coordinate compliance across other markets with brokers and business partners.
• Apply import/export requirements, Incoterms and documentation standards; assess new vendors and sourcing countries.
• Own the Canada tariff grid, including HS classifications and duty rates.
• Validate customs value, country of origin, currency and related valuation elements.
• Coordinate with CBSA/CARM processes and monitor broker performance and accuracy.
• Support sanctions, origin/provenance, and preferential trade programs.
