Job summary

WINMAR® (Canada) International, Ltd. is seeking an experienced Corporate Controller in London, Ontario. The role leads accounting and financial reporting, ensuring Canadian ASPE/IFRS compliance, tax regulations, and strong internal controls while supporting business growth.

The ideal candidate is a CPA with leadership experience and a passion for process improvements in a multi-entity franchise environment.

Qualifications

• CPA Canada designation required and strong GAAP knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 3–5+ years in accounting with leadership experience.
• Audits, tax compliance, and financial reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare financial statements per ASPE or IFRS as applicable.
• Oversee A/P, A/R, and general ledger; ensure balance sheet accuracy.
• Coordinate annual external audits and tax filings.
• Develop, implement and maintain internal controls.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Lead ERP implementations and process improvements.
• Mentor accounting staff and collaborate with leadership.
