CaptivateIQ is seeking a Senior Manager, Core Platform to lead engineering for critical platform building blocks and support a multi-product journey. You will guide a distributed team across NA, set strategy, and drive architectural decisions with a focus on reliability, security, and scale.

You will shape roadmaps, mentor engineers, and partner with product, design, and customer success to deliver impactful features while maintaining strong async collaboration and a growth mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading software engineers.
• 8+ years of full-time software development experience.
• Strong track record of hiring and developing engineers.
• Customer-focused with delivering high-quality features across the product lifecycle.
• Demonstrated technical depth and ability to guide senior engineers.
• Exceptional communication in a remote-first environment.
• High ownership and growth mindset in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Hire, inspire, and grow software engineers at every level — from junior to staff.
• Partner with Product, Design, Customer Success, Support, Sales, and cross-functional teams to set vision and roadmaps.
• Own delivery, operational excellence, and outcomes of your team's portfolio.
• Provide technical leadership by setting architectural guardrails and guiding major decisions.
• Manage processes to help engineers work efficiently and interface with the rest of the company.
• Lead by example in demonstrating and upholding CaptivateIQ's core values.
• Contribute to the broader engineering leadership team on org-wide initiatives.
