Job summary

InterEx Group is seeking a senior Agentic Platform Lead to architect scalable AI agent platforms and lead an engineering team while remaining close to the code.

In this hands-on leadership role you will own the architecture of an AI/agent platform, build infrastructure for orchestration, APIs, security, monitoring and governance, and partner with product squads to deploy AI features at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in platform engineering or distributed systems.
• Experience building and scaling multi-tenant platforms or developer infrastructure.
• Strong backend, API and web application experience.
• Strong API design and developer tooling experience.
• Experience architecting complex workflows and stateful systems.
• Experience leading technical teams and hiring engineers.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience with modern backend technologies such as Python, Java, C#, Node.js or similar.
• Experience with observability, debugging, reliability and production systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and delivery of a scalable AI/agent platform.
• Build infrastructure for agent orchestration, APIs, security, monitoring and governance.
• Create platform capabilities enabling product teams to independently develop and deploy AI features.
• Make key technical decisions around architecture, build vs. buy and emerging AI technologies.
• Lead, mentor and grow the platform engineering team, including hiring.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to drive platform adoption.
• Remain hands-on with backend services, APIs and platform development.
