Job summary

Ottawa Safety Council (OSC) seeks a Senior Coordinator – Business & Program Development to drive growth, identify opportunities, and strengthen partnerships with municipalities, school boards, and community organizations. The role also supports sponsorship, donor engagement, and OSC marketing, communications, and public awareness initiatives.

The successful candidate will coordinate program delivery, help develop new programs and revenue streams, and collaborate with stakeholders to raise OSC's

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Non-Profit Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in business development, marketing, communications, program coordination, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing professional correspondence, promotional materials, and presentations.
• Experience managing social media platforms, newsletters, and digital communications.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of OSC's business development strategy and growth priorities.
• Research and identify new business opportunities, markets, and prospective clients and partners.
• Conduct outreach to municipalities, school boards, community organizations, businesses, and other prospective partners.
• Promote and expand OSC's existing programs and develop new programs, services, and revenue streams.
• Coordinate client inquiries, meetings, proposals, and follow-up activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Prepare business proposals, partnership materials, presentations, and promotional resources.
• Support market research, competitive analysis, and assessments of opportunities.
