Job summary

Trans Mountain Corporation in Calgary seeks a Senior Contracts Specialist (Contract) to lead major contract packages through strategy, RFP, negotiation and transition to post‑award administration. You will work with Supply Chain, Project Management, Engineering, Legal and Finance to meet governance, commercial and risk requirements.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in contracts or procurement, with SCMP or equivalent preference, and strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline.
• SCMP designation or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in contracts or procurement.

Responsibilities

• Lead major contract packages from strategy through post‑award administration.
• Coordinate RFPs, evaluations, negotiations and award recommendations.
• Ensure governance, commercial controls and risk management requirements are met.
• Integrate Indigenous procurement and local participation requirements.
• Support cost control through pricing structures and terms review.
• Prepare auditable award recommendations and governance materials.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across Supply Chain, Project Management, and Legal.
