Job summary

Turner & Townsend is a global professional services firm seeking a Senior Contract Administrator in Calgary. You will join a team supporting major real estate and infrastructure projects, delivering contract administration, commercial insights and robust governance across programs.

The role emphasizes collaboration with clients and consultants, advanced reporting, and strong familiarity with Alliance contracts. A hybrid work model and competitive base salary are offered.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in contract administration, commercial management, or a related infrastructure/construction environment.
  • Professionally qualified in construction, cost management, engineering or project management.
  • Experience with procurement and contract administration advice and reporting to client & stakeholders.
  • Experience with Alliance contract model is required.

Responsibilities

  • Working as part of a team with project teams, commercial managers, contract administrators, technical advisors, clients, contractors and sub-contractors.

  • Providing insight and advice on commercial and contract arrangements, financial forecasting, payments, contract management & controls, change management cashflow analysis and claims management.
  • Strong understanding and experience in various construction models as required.
  • Interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages.
  • Drive the strategic, operational and technical diagnosis of client needs.
  • Support client’s organization and senior management in improving their capacity to develop and deliver major projects and programs.

Job Description

As a Senior Contract Administrator, you be involved in:



  • Working as part of a team and integrating with other project teams, commercial managers, contract administrators, technical advisors, clients, contractors and sub-contractors

  • Monitoring, analysing, reporting and providing advice on commercial matters.

  • Providing insight and advice on commercial and contract arrangements, financial forecasting, payments, contract management & controls, change management cashflow analysis and claims management.

  • Strong understanding and experience in various construction models as required.

  • Interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages.

  • Provide and drive the direction of the strategic, operational and technical diagnosis of the client needs.

  • Support client’s organization and senior management in improving their capacity to develop and deliver major projects and programs efficiently and effectively.


Qualifications


  • 5+ years of experience in contract administration, commercial management, or a related infrastructure/construction environment.

  • Professionally qualified in one of the following fields: construction, cost management, engineering or project management.

  • Contracts/Commercial Management experience preferably gained within the construction environment (rail, water, power, and utilities preferred).

  • A strong and demonstrable experience in providing procurement and contract administration advice and an ability to manage and report directly into the client and their key stakeholder group at both project and program level.

  • Strong understanding and experience with the Alliance contract model required.

  • Experienced in working within a Client focused consultancy environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with staff at all levels

  • Excellent verbal and written English with excellent report writing skills.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask.

  • Strong time management skills, quick thinking and resilience to deal with a fast-paced environment.

The base salary range for this full-time role is $60,000 - $85,000 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
