Job summary

Felix is seeking a Senior Content Designer to shape how patients are guided through their healthcare journey. You will turn complex health information into clear language and collaborate with product, design and lifecycle marketing teams to deliver a cohesive story.

This hands-on role combines strategy with writing and editing, leveraging AI tools to scale high-quality, on-brand content. As the first content design hire, you’ll build the practice and set standards for the team across Canada.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of content design, UX writing, or copywriting for a consumer-facing digital product or service.
• Strong portfolio showing hands-on writing across product experiences and customer communications with strategic thinking behind the work.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with a knack for clarity and concision.
• High standards for accuracy, grammar, and consistency in writing.
• Experience with AI writing tools and governance (prompts, voice, guidelines).
• Ability to explain thinking, collaborate across disciplines, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced startup.
• Excitement about building the content design function from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Shape how we communicate with patients throughout their healthcare journey, identifying essential information and how to present the next step clearly.
• Develop and test messaging concepts, using data and patient feedback to refine the approach.
• Write clear, engaging copy for product experiences, emails, push notifications, and other channels across onboarding, care, and re-engagement.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and lifecycle marketers to tell a cohesive story across experiences.
• Translate complex healthcare information into simple, human language with clinical and marketing alignment.
• Apply Felix voice and adapt tone to context to maintain warmth and clarity.
• Lead concepts through writing, review, delivery, and iteration, incorporating feedback.
• Develop guidelines and tools, including AI-powered approaches, to enable teams to produce on-brand content at scale.
