Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Senior Consultant - Platform Engineering in Montreal. The role emphasizes defining complex automation tasks and cloud architectures for scalable platforms, while championing DevOps culture and delivery practices.

You will mentor peers and client teams, help with agile estimation, and identify technical risks. Strong French/English communication is required for this hybrid role in Montreal.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software engineering and DevOps in production environments on at least one public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Understanding of cloud security fundamentals (IAM, firewalls, etc.).
• Agile mindset and ability to collaborate across functional and technical teams.

Senior Consultant - Platform Engineering (For Vacant Role)

What You’ll Do

• Defining complex automation tasks and cloud architecture for scalable platforms.
• Championing DevOps culture, tooling, and delivery practices.

• This role is based in Montreal, so strong communication skills in both French and English are required.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the expected base salary pay range is $123,000 to $150,000. In addition, there is potential for a 10% discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation will depend upon individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
