Job summary

Slalom Build in Montreal is seeking a Senior Consultant for Platform Engineering to design and automate scalable cloud platforms. You will champion DevOps practices, guide delivery, and mentor peers while collaborating with cross-functional teams across client projects.

The role requires hands-on production experience with at least one public cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), IaC expertise (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation), and a strong security mindset. A bilingual French/English capability is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software engineering and DevOps in production environments on at least one public cloud.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Understanding of cloud security fundamentals (IAM, firewalls).
• Agile mindset and ability to collaborate across functional and technical teams.
• Eagerness to learn and apply new technologies to solve real-world problems.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the expected base salary pay range is $123,000 to $150,000. In addition, there is potential for a 10% discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation will depend upon individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
