Job summary

Infosys is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Payroll Cloud Techno Functional Consultant to lead payroll projects in a global delivery model. You will translate business requirements into solution designs, coordinate with process consultants and SMEs, and drive end-to-end payroll operations across on‑shore/off‑shore teams.

Required to manage changes, communicate complex designs to stakeholders, and identify automation opportunities while ensuring regulatory compliance in US and Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution required; may be waived by three years of progressive experience in this specialty.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer-based visa sponsorship; Infosys cannot provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.

Job Overview

Infosys is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Payroll Cloud Techno Functional Consultant with strong leadership skills. The consultant will interact with process consultants and business SMEs to understand and analyze various processes, acting as Oracle HCM Payroll Cloud Lead and advisor. Responsibilities include translating business requirements into solution design, communicating complex designs to stakeholders, seeking approvals, and managing delivery in an on‑shore/off‑shore model with development and support teams across continents. The role also drives automation opportunities and supports end‑to‑end payroll operations.

Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Canada or be willing to relocate.
• Position may require travel within Canada.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution required; may be waived by three years of progressive experience in this specialty.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

Required Skills

• At least 10 years of experience in the software development life cycle.
• 5+ years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud implementation or support projects as Functional Consultant.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Cloud Payroll implementation or support.
• Expertise on North American payroll functional business processes and regulatory requirements in US and Canada.
• Responsible for maintaining employee payroll data, administering garnishments, and ensuring system integrity.
• Expertise in HCM Payroll cloud – payroll processing.
• Ability to troubleshoot payroll issues and provide resolution.
• Loading of external deductions and payroll data conversions in HCM Payroll cloud.
• Responsible for executing all post‑payroll processes and ensuring accuracy of files transmitted to vendors.
• Expertise in payroll cloud tax updates and testing after each upgrade.
• Working knowledge of Fast Formulas, Visual Builder Studio, HCM Data Loader, OTBI.
• Expertise in solution design, POC, and troubleshooting issues.
• Ability to interact and work with payroll business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated understanding of potential functional design issues, suggesting alternatives, and supporting existing functionality and integrations with other systems; effectively communicate status to management, issue, and risk management.
• Adherence to confidentiality requirements as outlined within operating policies and problem‑solving skills on a day‑to‑day basis for issues arising from Oracle HCM Cloud.
• Provide hands‑on leadership, coaching, and mentoring to other team members; experience or desire to work in a global delivery model.

Compensation

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in Ontario: $92,740 to $105,007.
