What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior Consultant, Business Controls, in the Governance & Controls team, you’ll lead the management of material, systemic, and emerging risks for Deposits & Payments LOB. You’ll develop and implement control improvement solutions across all products and channels. You’ll manage key controls to mitigate operational exposures and potential losses, support CIBC’s Control Framework for compliance, and act as the key relationship manager for the business.

We offer a flexible hybrid work arrangement, allowing 1-3 days on-site and the rest remote.

How You’ll Succeed

• Build and manage relationships with business partners and risk management teams.
• Understand and communicate control framework requirements, lead control testing, and develop reporting on control testing results.
• Proactively identify risk exposures and control gaps, analyze root causes, and lead remediation efforts.
• Provide expert advice on risk and controls, lead audits, compliance exams, and support regulatory projects.
• Analyze data to identify risks and recommend improvements.
