Job summary

Apex Geomatics is seeking a Senior Construction Surveyor to lead field surveying on large-scale civil and industrial projects in Western Canada. You will perform layout, data collection, QA checks, and liaise with clients and project teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in geomatics or civil engineering technology.
• Strong technical aptitude with surveying methods in active construction.
• Clear written records and effective client communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-precision construction layout and as-built surveys for major projects.
• Operate surveying instruments and data collection systems to establish site measurements.
• Review drawings to determine survey requirements and parameters.
• Apply QA procedures and field quality control to ensure data accuracy.
• Maintain field notes, daily reports, and project survey records.
• Coordinate with project managers, site superintendents, clients, and trades.
