Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Estimator (CSA) in Vancouver. You will develop and lead the total project estimate, coordinate with the project team, and refine the estimate plan. Interviews can be in person or virtual.

The role requires 10+ years in construction estimating, proficiency with Sage Timberline, InEight or CostX, and a construction-related degree. Strong communication and relationship-building are essential to deliver trusted solutions for major projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as estimator in construction
• Experience with Sage Timberline, InEight or CostX
• Construction-related degree or equivalent
• RICS/CEP/CPE chartered or pursuing certification
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Detail oriented with strong client relationships

Responsibilities

• Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team
• Lead the development of the total project estimate
• Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis, making cost contingency recommendations
• Analyze and recommend solutions to complex problems in line with project objectives
• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates
