Mint Health + Drugs in Calgary is seeking an experienced Compounding Pharmacist to advance our non-sterile compounding program. You will apply your compounding expertise, develop formulations, collaborate with prescribers and healthcare professionals, and mentor a specialized pharmacy team.
You will review prescriptions for safety and stability, perform calculations, prepare customized medications, ensure proper documentation, and help shape the future of Mint's personalized pharmacy services.

Not every patient fits into a standard medication or dosage form. Our compounding program allows us to work alongside patients, prescribers and healthcare professionals to create individualized medication solutions when commercially available options don't meet a patient's needs.

You'll work directly with physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, clinics and other healthcare professionals to help identify individualized medication solutions for their patients.

You'll also help train and mentor pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, assistants and students involved in compounding.
We're particularly interested in pharmacists with hands-on non-sterile compounding experience.
Experience with one or more of the following would be a strong asset:
Formal compounding education or certification is considered an asset.
Previous experience building relationships with prescribers, clinics or other healthcare professionals is also an asset — but we're equally interested in an excellent compounding pharmacist who is excited to develop this skill.
