Job summary

Duchesnay Pharmaceutical Group in Blainville, QC, is seeking a Communications Advisor to support internal and external communications. You will craft strategies, create materials in French and English, and collaborate with HR, marketing, and external vendors to amplify the company’s voice.

You will manage media relations, coordinate events and translation needs, and develop KPIs to measure success, contributing to an engaging employee experience and corporate outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Excellent command of both French and English, spoken and written.
• Proficiency with digital communication tools and social media platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and coordinate communication strategies that support internal engagement and external visibility.
• Design and implement communication tools and initiatives for identified functions and the broader team.
• Produce a wide range of materials (intranet news, social media content, presentations, graphic designs, press releases) in French and English.
• Coordinate with external vendors and partners for press releases, website content, and other materials.
• Coordinate and cultivate media relations and develop content opportunities to raise Duchesnay’s profile.
• Manage editorial calendar for internal/external communications with the team.
• Participate in brainstorming to maximize impact across formats and stakeholders.
• Draft and adapt writing tone to fit situations and company values.
• Coordinate translations or draft materials as required.
