Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial automobile underwriting experience, with at least 5 at the senior or specialist level.
• Strong analytical and portfolio analysis skills.
• Experience training, coaching, and mentoring individuals of diverse backgrounds.
• Proven project and change management skills with the ability to deliver on deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in the analysis of the Commercial Automobile underwriting portfolio to drive profitability.
• Support the design, development, implementation and maintenance of policy wordings, guidelines, authorities, and underwriting resource tools.
• Participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of corporate underwriting standards, appetite, and philosophy.
• Lead or participate in the underwriting audit process including follow up to ensure action plans are completed timely.
• Maintain forms, files, records and prepare reports, information and presentations as required.
