Fleetway is seeking a Senior Combat Systems Technologist (Crewing) to join the River Class Destroyer program. You will gather and analyze combat systems and occupational data to shape personnel requirements and training strategies for Canada's future warships.
Working with Navy subject matter experts, you will lead workshops, validate roles, and update needs assessments as new technical information becomes available.
Fleetway is building the crew model for the Royal Canadian Navy's next generation warship, the River Class Destroyer (RCD). This is a rare opportunity to take your operational Combat Systems experience and directly influence how Canada's future warships are crewed, structured, trained, and sustained for decades to come. As a Senior Combat Systems Technologist (Crewing), you will join a multidisciplinary team responsible for Occupational Analysis and Personnel Requirements (OAPR) activities for the RCD program. Working alongside military subject matter experts, Instructional Systems Designers, industry partners, and Royal Canadian Navy stakeholders, you will help define the roles, competencies, and personnel requirements needed to operate one of the most advanced naval platforms ever introduced into Canada. Your expertise will help answer critical questions such as: What does the right crew look like for a modern warship? How should Combat Systems teams be organized to maximize operational effectiveness? How can we balance capability, readiness, workload, and sustainability? What skills and training will sailors require to operate and maintain future Combat Systems? The work you do will influence who sails aboard the River Class Destroyer and how crews fight, operate, and sustain the ship throughout its service life.
