Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Customer Engineer to drive the technical relationship from discovery through long-term adoption and expansion for customers in a rapidly evolving AI-enabled environment.

You will function as a quota-bearing technologist, partnering with sales to deliver bespoke architectures, demos, and PoCs while leveraging AI to automate routine tasks and free time for strategic advisory.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering or Sales Engineering.
• Broad technical expertise across web security, networking, cloud infrastructure and enterprise architecture.
• Proven track record in quota-carrying or revenue-aligned roles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management for C-suite conversations.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, build bespoke architectures, and deliver product demos and PoCs across Cloudflare’s portfolio.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, from onboarding to renewal and expansion.
• Own long-term technical relationships and align customer goals with product roadmaps.
• Drive quarterly business reviews to translate platform capabilities into ROI for executives.
• Leverage AI agents to automate routine tasks and focus on strategic advisory.
