Job summary

EHN Canada is seeking a Clinician to provide high-quality case management, clinical treatment, advocacy, individual and group therapy for clients with PTSD, operational stress injury, and co-occurring mental health and addiction issues.

You will be part of an interdisciplinary team and participate in team meetings and care planning, coordinating with referral agencies and families to support aftercare and discharge Planning.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counselling, Social Work, or Psychotherapy.
• Registration in good standing with the appropriate professional body.
• Experience in residential mental health/addiction settings is a strong asset.
• Experience facilitating group programs and therapeutic groups is required.
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary health care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual treatment and ongoing assessment using evidence-based modalities (CBT, mindfulness, DBT, CPT, interpersonal therapy, trauma-informed care).
• Facilitate abstinence-based relapse prevention education and groups.
• Identify treatment goals and coordinate with broader clinical teams.
• Deliver psychoeducational and process groups using evidence-based modalities.
• Coordinate case management and communication within inter-professional teams and external providers.
• Develop, implement, and follow up of aftercare plans including referrals to recovery programs; prepare discharge summaries.
• Complete detailed documentation timely according to company standards.
• Engage with patients’ families, referral sources, and other stakeholders.
