It involves analyzing data to spot irregular patterns, reviewing and assessing internal controls, and collaborating with others to identify emerging risks and resolutions.

Position: Senior Claims Quality Advisor – Accident Benefits
Role Designation: Remote
Accountabilities:
  1. Conduct employee file reviews, call reviews, and targeted reviews to support business projects and initiatives.
  2. Ensure understanding and compliance with file and customer service standards.
  3. Adhere to internal best practices, regulatory, legal, and ethical policies.
  4. Analyze data to identify gaps, provide insights, and recommend improvements.
  5. Complete control reviews, analysis, and reporting to meet Corporate Compliance and SOX requirements.
  6. Participate in calibration sessions.
  7. Provide feedback to Claim Managers and Claim Advisors to meet quality performance targets.
  8. Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding results, trends, and updates.
Qualifications:
  1. Minimum 5+ years of Accident Benefits CCU claims experience; RSA (CAT) & ADR (dispute) experience is an asset.
  2. Extensive claims and insurance regulation knowledge.
  3. Deep understanding of Claims Best Practices.
  4. Strong influencing skills and adaptability to change.
  5. Ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
  6. Knowledge of Provincial Insurance Acts and legal/regulatory requirements.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and in teams.
  9. Enrolled or willing to enroll in CIP designation.
