What it’s like to be a Claims Adjuster at Northbridge Financial:

As a Claims Adjuster, you will be part of a dynamic team that values attention to detail and prioritizes the customer experience. The Casualty and Litigation team handles a variety of claims across several lines of business, including Auto, CGL, Directors’ and Officers’, and Professional Liability claims. Our Claims Adjusters are responsible for conducting efficient investigations, assessing coverage, liability, and damages, and working directly with third parties and counsel to resolve claims.

• Adjudicating intermediate to complex claims, including litigation files

• Confirming coverage and conducting liability investigations

• Preparing file summaries for internal reporting, large loss, and reinsurance purposes

• Managing a busy daily schedule effectively

• Providing excellent customer service

And you have:

• Post-secondary education in an insurance-focused or related program

• Completed or working towards the CIP designation

• A minimum of 5 years of liability claim handling experience

• Experience with commercial lines is an asset

• Strong technical skills with MS Office Suite

• Ability to communicate clearly with claimants, brokers, and legal counsel
