FRENCH SPEAKING ADJUSTER - QUEBEC REGION

Gallagher Bassett Canada is experiencing aggressive growth. We are hiring a full-time Senior Claims Adjuster.

This role involves investigating, evaluating, and settling claims, including general liability, product liability, first-party property damage, auto, and third-party auto claims.

How you'll make an impact

• Knowledge of industry standards and practices, with strong analytical skills for decision-making and issue resolution.
• Ability to negotiate claim settlements and interpret related documentation, including negotiations with solicitors and parties within granted authority.
• Strong coverage knowledge, multitasking, and adaptability skills.
• Excellent time management, organization, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills in both French and English.
• Handling claims in accordance with client, company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

About you

Required:

• High school diploma
• 5+ years claims experience
• Proper licensing or ability to obtain licenses per local requirements
• Extensive industry standards knowledge
• Computer proficiency with claims and business software

Preferred:

• College/University degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience in commercial lines claims
• Licenses in Quebec and other provinces; commercial license preferred
• Must be bilingual in French and English
