Job summary

ONxpress Civils (CJV) seeks a Project Engineer- Stations to bridge design and construction across GO Expansion sites. You’ll be the main technical interface between design management and construction teams, resolving field issues to ensure design intent is applied on site.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, P.Eng. in Ontario, 12+ years in civil engineering and heavy infrastructure, and strong knowledge of OBC/CSA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with PEO in Ontario.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive civil engineering and construction experience.
• Experience with heavy civil transit, transportation, or major infrastructure projects.
• Experience in temporary works coordination (shoring, falsework, formwork).
• Familiarity with OBC, CSA, and transportation authority standards.

Responsibilities

• Review design deliverables for completeness and code compliance.
• Review RFIs, ITPs, SIs, and shop drawings; identify risks.
• Coordinate with designers to resolve discrepancies and support value engineering.
• Coordinate temporary works designs to ensure safety and constructability.
• Provide constructability input on erection procedures and sequences.
• Support heavy lift planning and site logistics; review rigging plans.
• Provide on-site technical support and conduct design briefings for teams.
